Loops, creative coding.

Via @bleuje@mathstodon.xyz: These wonderful and quirky little animations are just mesmerising… Etienne Jacob is a software engineer, and artist creating GIF animations through programming. I came across their work on Mastodon where I am following their postings – and each time, I have to stop and watch. For way too long ツ

Included here, with kind permission (thanks, Etienne ツ), are a few selected pieces from their animations section.

I’d highly recommend to have a look at Etienne’s site which has an incredible number of amazing loops on show ツ But be warned, these little masterpieces will draw you in and you might not surface again for a few hours – it’s a timesink: bleuje.com
