music

Music inspires me deeply. While tastes are subjective, listening to unfamiliar tunes — especially those outside our usual familiar choices — can take our minds on unexpected journeys.

The music I post here is meant to inspire you and let your mind drift. We are bombarded daily with so much media, so much hype about artists and their image. This is why I would like to draw your attention to the music alone: the melodies, rhythms, and lyrics — without the distraction of music videos or the musicians. I know I love certain songs without being fond of their visual interpretations.

Songs in this section are posted as embedded videos with the visuals initially covered. I chose to do this in an effort to encourage you to simply listen. Click the cover to play, close your eyes and allow the music to take you away. (If you'd like to watch the video, there's a button to remove the cover.)

I'm hoping you'll let me guide you to this listening experience ツ You might find you connect more deeply with the music when there is nothing else competing for your attention ツ
